This is most likely caused by your template. Can you provide a link to your site so we can have a look...?

Hello,

I'm sure this is a very simple fix, but I am having a heck of a time figuring out why my categories, calendar, tag cloud, etc aren't showing in the right position on the blog that I am setting up.

They are all published and set to right. I have read throught the entire user documentation pdf file, and just can't seem to see what I am missing.

Any suggestions?

Thanks,
Cyndi

Hi All

Having a problem with the sync of my google calendar to RSEvents :(

I have a number of events where the venue is different, so I (apparently wrongly) assumed the "create new location based on event location" setting would automatially create each new venue.

On sync, it has put all events at the same location, the first one it has found :(

So .... my questions are :

1. If I delete / modify the events in RSEvents will that delete / modify them from Google Calendar?

2. How can I get...

Hi! I'm making my forms in Portuguese. Where's the file in which I can translate "Choose File" and "No file chosen" in the file upload field? In the language file, all I see are the calendar words, which I've already translated.

Live site: www.espressoenglish.net/ (scroll down to see the form)

Thanks!

Hello,

I display all of the events on my calendar in the "list" view. I would like my events to display in reverse chronological order (so the soonest event is on top of the list). How can I do this? Is there an option to do this that I am not seeing?

The page is here: http://strandboston.com/calendar

Thanks!

As promised, here's the script & it works.

In order to achieve this please try setting the minimum date of your calendar field to "01/18/2011" and the "Date format" to "dd.mm.yyyy". After you have done this please go to the "Scripts" tab and add the following script in the "Scripts called on form display" field:

$Sdate = time() + (7 * 24 * 60 * 60);
// 7 days; 24 hours; 60 mins; 60secs
$tmp = date('m/d/Y',$Sdate);
$formLayout = str_replace("{'mindate': '01/18/2011'}", "{'mindate': '".$tmp."'}", $formLayout);

I've just raised a support ticket on this same question. I need the minimum date to be today plus 7 days.

I'll post here when I get a reply.

This is an issue with the template settings for Tachyon_j16.
  • Go into template manager
  • Select the "features" tab
  • Disable "Client-Side Date"

You can leave Date Show "ON" with out any problems...

Thanks Andrei for pointing me in the right direction :)

Cheers

I can create and add events fine. the events I add show fine.

Each day that DOES NOT have an event show today's date in a large font making the calendar cluttered and unusable.

How do I remove today's date from the non-event days?

Any assistance would be appreciated.

Thank you

Hello!

I use the Calendar in table-layout and I'd like to automatically set the MINDATE value to a day X days in the future. Or if this is not doable, at least on today. So that it's not possible to send a form with a date in the past!

How can I achieve this? - without daily updating MINDATE by myself :blink: ;)

Thanks in advance for help and advice. :)

I forgot about using Firebug so was able to fix it myself, I just commented out the image line from the css code.

table.rsevents_calendar_component td.has-events a.hasTip {
margin: 3px;
display: block;
/* background: url(https://cdn.rsjoomla.com/calendar_event.png) no-repeat left top; */
padding-left: 0px;
}

in the file...
/components/com_rsevents/assets/calendar/default/default_component.css

I also changed the margin from 6px to 3px and padding-left from 20px to 0px.
