Hello,

You can consider installing RSEvents! on your Joomla! 1.5 site, using the Import process as described here:

www.rsjoomla.com/support/documentation/v...mporting-events.html

in order to import the events from JCal Pro. After this you can move the RSEvents! tables from 1.5 to your 1.7 database and install RSEvents! on your 1.7 site.

Now the events will be accessible in Joomla! 1.7.

You can use the concatenate function in excel to write you own query and use that query in for example phpmyadmin to insert the information in the database

Thanks for reply.

Shall have to do the long version - import .csv to Google calendars, export to .ics, then import into RSEvents!

Hello,

Unfortunately RSEvents! does not incorporate any CSV import features.

Hi
Am interested in using RSEvents!, but first I need to know whether it is possible to import a .CSV file into RSEvents! as I am regularly supplied with a list of Fixtures supplied in .CSV format

Thank you

I know this info is probably too late for the original poster, but I recently, successfully imported members from AEC Access control component (similar in features to RSMembership, but much more complex and quite confusing). I had worked with AEC before and was totally overwhelmed by the multitude of screens and fields and options. If I didn't use it every single day I would be totally lost in it. Our client was intimidated by it as well and had not used it correctly since it was installed...

Hi!

I imported forms from RSForm Pro that I used in Joomla 1.5.22 into my new fresh installation of Joomla 1.6.4 and after some adjustments to the new version everything seem to be fine.
But now that I tested the actual usage of the form I still get my User and Admin confirmation mails, but no actual data is transmitted into the RSForm Pro data base - means no new submissions do appear in the RSForm Pro itself.
Nothing to find in the back end!

What is the problem?

Thanks for quick reply ....

Hello,

Some notes of my own:
1) You should never install a plugin first and then the component. The plugin works with the latest version of RSMembership! only, so please install them in this order: component, then plugins.

2) The language tag is actually inside the xml file and has always been. I think the language file was not copied on your server due to lack of permissions on either the en-GB/ folder or the en-GB.plg_system_rsmembershipauthorize.ini file.

Regarding language strings......

OK. I had a nightmare of a time setting up authorize.net for the RS Membership. I am making this post in hopes it will help someone avoid the hours I had to spend to get this working.

First note: Versions.
As of this post they are on Rev 17 of RSMembership. If you do not update your RSMembership to rev 17 prior to installing and turning on the Authnet plugin, your site will break on both the front and back. If this happens you can comment out (precede them with a #) lines 37 and 38 of the...

Is there a way to have RS Form automatically export the form submission as an XML file when the user hits submit. I need the XML file to be saved on the web server so that there can be an automatic daily FTP session to download the file and import the data into my MS Access database.

The export function is in the base RS Form code already. Maybe there is some PHP to call that function onSubmit, but then how do you save that exported file directly to the web server?

I'm using RSFormsPro on a project that requires the site user to enter an account number which will in turn populate a HTML or plain text document that will email to the site user along with the site admin.

The trick is that there are four different documents and only one document should be output depending on the indicated variable.

The script that populates the information from the users company database is written, but how can I vary the RSFormsPro output based on the variable contained...

Hello,
I was just about to post on the same subject!

This is an important topic for me, as I have been looking at various CCKs lately (Seblod, K2, Zoo, and Form2Content).

A CCK might be overkill for me, as I just need to accomplish these things:
1. Allow certain users to access certain forms.
2. Generate articles from submitted forms (perhaps using fields).
3. Allow users to edit their form entries, thereby editing generated articles.

It seems RSForm Pro is so close to being able to do this....
