I've just been looking at the demo for RSDirectory. What would be the downsides to using it a CCK?

The way it handles custom fields makes it more versatile and user-friendly than K2's extra fields, and the layout editor integrated into the listing is pretty great.

What the demo doesn't let us look at is the menu options, so that might be an issue, but overall this is pretty impressive, and surely an alternative to look at if I need a lot of custom fields for a certain type of content.

Has anyone ignore the front-end listing submissions, payments and credits and just tried to use this as a general content component?
