Hello,

By default, RSDirectory! does hide empty fields from the entries details page.

However, you were probably confused when viewing this in our demo server for RSDirectory!:

directory.rsjoomla.com/administrator
directory.rsjoomla.com

This actually uses the "Use description template" feature that generates the entry description based on the description template you have added(useful to provide a custom description without actually modifying any source code).

If you are to go to the backend area of our RSDirectory! demo server > Components > RSDirectory! > Forms > select "Travel" for example > Layout tab. Here, the "Use description template" would be enabled and you can view the exact code which was used to generate the description. The captions were added statically(plain text) and its actually normal as these will appear.

Try following these steps to disable this feature and have fields show/hide automatically:

- disable the mentioned feature
- on the same page, below, you will find the custom fields under "Listing Detail Custom fields". Enable these fields.
- submit a new entry using the same form you have performed this changes

Now, you will notice that having empty fields will no longer display.

PS: A more detailed explanation on RSDirectory! can be found in the getting started section below.
