I have created tickets for several programs and when the user completes the registration form (all fields), the required fields all indicate that they still need to be filled out.

Any ideas what can be causing this?

I've determined if a field is set to required, then a validation rule has to be selected. I'm not sure of the reasoning behind this.

I have encountered a similar problem for custom fields that were working correctly 6 months ago. Now the same fields fail on required fields even though the fields are completed.
I solved the problem by opening each custom field and re-saving each one, with no other changes. I'm guessing that by re-saving the field, a database trigger fired and updated something in the database?
