Hi all,

as there is a new EU law coming in May 2018 allowing to give users the chance to delete their own account, as well as the system itself check for inactive accounts (time limited storage) and delete them automatically, we are experiencing issues with RSEvents now.

EU Law: eur-lex.europa.eu/legal-content/EN/TXT/?uri=CELEX:32016R0679

Whenever there is an event existing, open for more than one application and an already applied user does not exist anymore for some reason, the event details page is giving a Joomla core warning:
JUser: :_load: Fehler beim Laden des Benutzers mit der ID: XXX (currently German, saying: error loading the user with ID: XXX)
This is not stopping the system from accepting the new application, but since the site we are using RSEvents for is a bit sensitive for the users to handle, this is maybe confusing them and will maybe keep them from applying.

Is there any way to implement a kind of warning suppression or even to fire a different (to be defined in the settings) error message and the ability to NOT show it on the frontend?
An automated system, checking for not existing users to already existing application would not be ideal, as even if the new law is the "right to be forgotten", there are scenarios where the pure information that the user has once applied to an event is still reasonable.

Thanks in advance for any kind of suggestions or help!
