Hello!

I'm using RS Events Pro for developing/updating an events-focused website that is going to support three front-end languages using Joomla's Language Manager tools. I know that there are language packs available for RS Events Pro, and I've applied what's available. (Looks like I'll have to cobble something together myself for simplified Chinese.)

My questions revolve around best/recommended practices for multi-language configuration for presenting content. RS Events Pro does not support the "Associations" feature used in Joomla's core for multilingual site configuration -- such as with Articles and Menu Items -- nor does it allow a Language value to be applied to an Event. (I do, however, note that RS Event Pro's Categories support selection of a Joomla content Language.)

Despite this, I figure I can still get the front-end appearance I desire by using RS Event Pro's Tags for tagging an Event with a language-specific name, then use RS Event Pro's "Events" Menu Item Type to filter on the appropriate tag according to which language-specific menu the Menu Item is placed within. My questions are:
  • Is this the recommended way to configure RS Events Pro for multi-language websites?
  • Do you have any multi-language enhancements in the development pipeline? Would it be prudent to eventually plan to have Language selection for Events, "Associations" between items, etc.?

Thanks in advance for your feedback!
