TOPIC: Attendees (Allowing to edit thier information)

Attendees (Allowing to edit thier information) 12 years 1 week ago #22721

Hello,

I would like to know if there is any option for allowing the attendees to edit their information, like cancelling the event to which they have register or adding more than one event etc.

thanks

Hello,

RSEvents!Pro uses the default Joomla! user registration system. The user information(added when creating a new account) is not changed from RSEvents!Pro. Subscription details are based on the user provided information.

Event information, and related event options like canceling the event subscription or adding/creating events are possible. These permissions can be configured for a Joomla! user group:

www.rsjoomla.com/support/documentation/v...icle/688-groups.html

If the attendee which is part from an user group that has the "users that belong to this group can cancel their event subscription." enabled, will be able to cancel its subscription from the event detail page(frontend).

Adding events is also based on group permissions, explained in the article above.

For a better understanding on the component capabilities and features you can read the getting started section:

Dear Adrian,

Thanks for your reply, i have seen your links about the user groups and their permissions. However can we have an option where we can restrict the guest users to subscribe for the event, as of now when the guest see the event and want to join, he is only ask to enter his name and email, after entering this he has join the event. So when a user click on join, can we ask them to login and then join the event. Do we have such settings where we can allow only registered users to join/subscribe for the event.

Thanks
