TOPIC: Images aren't loading

I have uploaded almost 300 photos, but a maximum of 100 are shown on a page at once. When I click "load more" the images revealed don't load, but some random ones do, it is not consistent at all because the same image will load on another page and when I click on them they enlarge so it looks like the thumbnail is not automatically being regenerated as the extension claims to be able to do. Has anyone else had this problem?

I am using Joomla 1.5
The administrator has disabled public write access.
