RS files version 1.15.16

I am having trouble with uploading a file in front-end.
With my front-end folders I do see the upload button.
When I click on the upload button I get this screen with:
+ Add files Override existing UPLOAD file Cancel


Problem:
Adding a file with "+ add file" DOES NOT RESPOND.
Nothing happens


The file is of a accepted type

anyone?
The administrator has disabled public write access.
