I have members on a 2013 subscription plan with a fixed expiry date of 1st Jan 2014. When they joined the activation rules moved them into a Member User Access Level, giving them access to the restricted areas of the web site whilst their membership is current. If their sub expires they are moved from the Member Group back to the Guest User Access Level. However I have now offered a new 2014 subscription plan to the members for next year with the same activation rules. What happens if users subscribe/pay for the 2014 plan prior to the 2013 plan expiring? Will the rules of the new plan override the old plan? For example if they subscribe to the 2014 plan as an additional subscription early ie during December 2013, will the rules of the old plan still be applied when it expires on 1st Jan 2014 and therefore move them back to the guest user level??
