TOPIC: Installation issue - PHP Fatal error

Installation issue - PHP Fatal error 12 years 11 months ago #13672

Hi,

I have been trying to install RSSEO on joomla 1.6.3. Please find more details below:
Red Hat 6.1 64 bit
mysql-server-5.1.52-1.el6_0.1.x86_64
php-mysql-5.3.3-3.el6.x86_64
mysql-libs-5.1.52-1.el6_0.1.x86_64
mysql-5.1.52-1.el6_0.1.x86_64

Every single time when I try to install RSSEO extension I get the same error:
[Fri May 20 05:22:42 2011] [error] [client 172.16.0.24] PHP Fatal error: Call to undefined method JXMLElement::getElementByIdPath() in /var/www/development/dev2.proxar.co.uk/administrator/components/com_rsseo/install.rsseo.php on line 12, referer: dev2.proxar.co.uk/administrator/index.php?option=com_installer

I have tried installing it on CentOS 5.6 64bit (with slighly older versions of php, apache and mysql) with the same results.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Kind Regards,

Hello,

Are you by any chance trying to install the tryout version for RSSEO! on Joomla! 1.6? If it is so, then please note that the tryout version is not compatible with Joomla! 1.6.
