TOPIC: Meta Tags being reset

Meta Tags being reset 13 years 11 months ago #10606

Hi

I've just started going through the pages part of RSSEO, going into each page and adding titles, descriptions and keywords.

On some pages, when I press apply, the page refreshes and goes back to the old values.

Anyone got any ideas why?

Cheers

Andy

Hello,

Please make sure you have disabled the cache before trying to edit your pages from:

Site > Global Configuration > System > Cache settings
Extensions > Plugin Manager > System - Cache

Also please make sure that you delete the already existing cache from Tools > Clean Cache.

Hi I'm having this same issue. My cache was already disabled. I've cleaned and purged my cache too but still I can't fix the meta-data for my homepage.

Thanks

Hello,

Please make sure that you have cleaned the SEF cache also(from any 4rd party SEF component that you might be using). If you have another component that edits the meta data then please try disabling the feature from the respective component as it might overwrite the data that you are setting in RSSEO!.
