TOPIC: JCE & TinyMCE Editors remove *style* from template

JCE & TinyMCE Editors remove *style* from template 11 years 10 months ago #17828

How can I include global CSS within a newsletter template?

I am using RSMail! on a Joomla 2.5.5 site. I designed a template that has four lines of CSS at the top

<style type="text/css">
<!--
body { background-color:#EAEAEA; margin:0px; }
td { font-family: verdana; font-size:11px; font-weight: normal; }
td img {display: block;}
a { color: #0000ff; }
-->
</style>

JCE and TinyMCE editors keep removing this code. Is there any way to tell RSMail to keep the code in there?

Thanks

Hello,

Just configure JCE and TinyMCE to not clean the code.
Then it will stay there.

I should have stated that in my original post - I DID turn off the clean code functions - but they keep removing the styles. Any other thoughts?

Found it! The obvious setting in JCE editor does not fix this issue - Had to go here:

Components (menu) > JCE Editor > Profiles
Default > Editor Parameters (tab) > Options (left menu)
Allow CSS: YES
