TOPIC: Integration not Automatic

The integration plugin works, but it's not automatic. I have to open the plugin, check the boxes, and click save to import any new users. They aren't being added to the list automatically. The check boxes are not staying checked either. I check them, save, it works, then they're un-checked again.
The administrator has disabled public write access.
