Hello,

We are a sea-scouting group.
Having a Joomla site and a phpbb3 forum.
The forum is used by the kids to communicate in their groups.
The site is used for al kind of communications to the parents.
Subscriptions to events, personal info papers .. all are done with RSFormPro.

Now the problem is that parents would like to subscribe to a published article and be notified by mail whenere that article changes, of to a category and when a article changes of is added.
That would be a 'latetst changes' article.
Parents don't take the effort to have a look on the site to see if there is any latest changes (at least not all of them). So we would like to have a mail generated to those who 'subscribe' to the article and mail them that there is a change and that they should go and see the site ..

Is such a kind (or similar) setup possible with RSMail ?

Hello,

You don't actually need a newsletter specialized component. You could try achieving the same functionality with RSS methods.

The parents simply subscribe to the RSS and they will receive notification when a new article is being added.
