I have created a new /tmp folder outside of my httpdocs, and no matter what i do in terms of chown/chmod that folder I always get the above message. The path is correct, it is /var/-path-/joomladocs/tmp where previously was /var/-path-/httpdocs/tmp

The logs directory is perfectly happy as joomladocs/logs.

I wondered if it was cached as a session variable, but a clean login from another browser gives me the same.

The test for "Checking if there are any files left in the Joomla! temporary folder" gives this message when clicked:

JFolder::files: Path is not a folder
Delete failed: 'httpdocs'

So 'httpdocs' is saved in a file as part of the install somwhere I am guessing?

Any pointers would be appreciated. Running J! v 1.5.15 under CentOS and evaluating the tryout of RS Firewall 1.0.0
