TOPIC: Backend Password

I cant get my backend access password to work. At first I thought that my password is wrong, but after reset through phpmyadmin and setting new password it still doesnt work. I leave the username field blank. I have a joomla 1.5.14.
Please help.

If not all servers support this feature there should be a warning. Now I'm locked out of my site and don't know what to do. Sure hope my support ticket gets a fast response.
