TOPIC: Feature request - why not blacklist abusive IPs?

Feature request - why not blacklist abusive IPs? 7 years 6 months ago #35918

I've had a number of sites hacked recently (all with RSFirewall installed and scoring 85-95) and it's frustrating to see that in the logs, RSfirewall identified the IP's as being known abusive IPs and presumably blocked them from accessing forms but didn't add them to the blacklist.

These IP's continued to place 10000's of requests to spam generating files planted within Joomla. If RSFirewall knows the IP's are tainted why can't it allow us (even optionally) to blacklist them automatically?

Many thanks.
