Why is Mozilla flagged as a dangerous user agent? 7 years 9 months ago #35428

I've noticed that several users have been autobanned because of a "dangerous user agent", namely Mozilla or Mozilla/5.0. Isn't Mozilla just the open source browser Firefox? I apologize in advance if this question seems woefully ignorant; it's just that I used Firefox for years and never thought of it being malicious.
The administrator has disabled public write access.
