Hi,

php.ini file was stopping Joomla update. I have been trying to update the joomla version as indicated by RSFirewall but kept getting a 500 error. My host suggested it might be a php memory problem and suggested I increased the allocated memory. This did not solve the issue. In the end I disabled the php.ini file and this allowed me update joomla. Has RSfirewall added content to the php.ini file that is causing a conflict of some kind? Contents of php.ini file:

-allow_url_include=Off
disable_functions=show_source, system, shell_exec, passthru, exec, phpinfo, popen, proc_open
register_globals=Off
safe_mode=Off
open_basedir=/home/sites/cyberscribe.co.uk/public_html:/tmp::/home/sites/cyberscribe.co.uk/tmp:/home/sites/cyberscribe.co.uk/public_html/logs
memory_limit = 512M

there is also a php5.ini file:

php5.ini max_execution_time = 60
upload_max_filesize = 10M
post_max_size = 10M
memory_limit = 512M
display_errors = 0
register_globals = 0
output_buffering = 0
magic_quotes_gpc = '0'

please advise re file contents and update problems, should I re enable these files for RSFirewall?

Thanks
Jonathan
