TOPIC: Permissions to apply with RS Firewall

Permissions to apply with RS Firewall 10 years 8 months ago #28597

Hello,

I always find permissions a bit puzzling, but RS Firewall has helped a lot. On most of my websites I have applied 755 on folders and 644 on files. My problem is that some folders need to accept photos, documents and so on from joomla's editor or components such as DOCman. But with a 755 restriction it doesn't want to anymore, even installing a new plugin or component is blocked. I find that strange as I am the administrator I should have the rights to change via joomla.

Can you help me please ?

Thank you
