TOPIC: RSFirewall system plugin disabled

RSFirewall system plugin disabled 11 years 1 month ago #26788

Hi there,
I have RSFirewall installed on 17 sites at the moment... this latest installation showed a warning:
"Warning! The RSFirewall! System Plugin has been disabled. You will not be protected."

Upon checking.. there IS NO RSFirewall system plugin. There's the active scanner plugin, which is enabled.

The site is running Joomla 2.5.18, RSFirewall is 1.4.0 Rev 54. The only difference to other sites on my server, that I can pin point, is Admin Tools (Akeeba).

Any ideas? Thank you!

Hello,

If the message says the RSFirewall! System Plugin is disabled, then this is probably caused by an error in the Joomla! plugins database. Try going to Extensions > Plug-in Manager > search for "System - RSFirewall! Active Scanner", click to edit it and click on "Save". This should resolve the error in the database and the plugin should be active.

Hi,

This happened to me after installing RSFirewall for the first time.

Installing the GEOIp database in "Firewall Configuration", "Country Blocking" tab resolved the problem
