Hi am getting an error messages on the RSFirewall System Overview page. An example of one line would be the following...

Strict Standards: Non-static method SimplePie_Misc::fix_protocol() should not be called statically, assuming $this from incompatible context in C:\xampp\htdocs\mero\libraries\simplepie\simplepie.php on line 833

Can you please help with this.

Thanks
Gary

Hello,

This is actually caused by two things:
1) A library inside Joomla! (as you can see from the path - /libraries/simplepie/simplepie.php) was written for an older version of PHP and thus is throwing these messages. Don't worry about them as they do not pose any functionality implications.
2) Your error reporting level from Joomla! (Site > Global Configuration) that allows these errors to appear. You can set a lower error reporting level.
Please note: my help is not official customer support. To receive your support, submit a ticket by clicking here
