Hello,

In RSFirewall rev 22 I used to be able to install from a package directory. Now, with all versions since then (23, 24 and now 25), I get the Joomla error: "Please enter a package directory" and "Unable to find install package".

Since I use the component on all of our websites, it's much faster for me to upload the .zip file and extract to an "install" directory on the server once, and then install from the directory in Joomla, rather than uploading the entire 1.3MB file every time I install it.

The installer still works perfectly when I upload the file from my local computer. I'm just wondering if something has changed or if maybe I'm doing wrong.

The files are extracted directly from the .zip to /usr/local/share/joomla/com_rsfirewall/

I used the command (just so everyone knows I'm doing this properly!):
unzip com_rsfirewall.zip -d /usr/local/share/joomla/com_rsfirewall

Any help you can provide would be greatly appreciated. For now I will continue to re-upload the file over and over again. I'm also not able to use the "Install from URL" method as I have disabled the fopen_url in my global php.ini settings (unless someone has a suggestion as to how I can make this work with cURL instead, without having to hack the Joomla core).
