TOPIC: help with the mail configuration in RSEvents.

help with the mail configuration in RSEvents. 15 years 3 months ago #9577

I installed the RSEvents in my domain, everything works, excep the mail.
This is my global configuration of the email:
Mailer: SMTP Server
Mail from: This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it
From name:admin
Send mail path: /usr/sbin/sendmail
SMTPH Authentication: Yes
SMTP Authentication: SSL
SMTP Port: 465
SMTP User: This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it
SMTP Pass: the gmail account pass
SMTP Host: smtp.gmail.com

When I register a user with the joomla default module to register users; it works 100% ok.
But when I register for an event, altough I get the mail without problem I get the next message after the submit:
PHPMAILER_RECIPIENTS_FAILED{Email:value}
Mi email configuration for RSEvents is:
From: This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it
From name: informescceventos
Reply to: This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it
CC: Empty
BCC: Empty
In the registration email tab:
Subject: E-mail de registro
Body:
<h3>Bienvenido {username}</h3>
<p>Usted se ha registrado para el evento {EventName}.</p>
<p>Este evento inicia el {EventStartDate} y termina el {EventEndDate}</p>
<p>en {LocationName}.</p>
<p>.</p>

What´s the problem?
Please some help will be apreciated:(

Hello,

Are you by any chance using RSForm! Pro in order to create custom registration forms for your events? If it is so, please double check the placeholders that you use in the fields of the User & Admin emails. And make sure that the placeholders return valid email addresses.
