TOPIC: Create event from frontend

Create event from frontend 15 years 11 months ago #7922

Hi,

New to the forums....just paid for this component, had a quick fiddle with it, but perhaps i missed something......How can i allow certain groups of people within my community (permissions set at admin, editor, author) to be able to create their own event from the frontend?

Is this possible?

Hello ,

If you wish to allow users to add events , you can do this by setting up groups with permissions.

I have the groups and premissions setup correctly and still i can't get the Add Event function to work from the FrontEnd.

Any ideas?

I am having the same problem. Groups are setup correctly for frontend and backend allowing to post and edit. Also cache is disabled under plugins and under global config.

Only backend users like admin see add event icon. Frontend do not see the icon. Also when a frontend user tries to edit an event and clicks edit event it takes them back to default calendar page. Please advise.
