The google maps function isn't as advanced as i hoped it would. Although RSEvents has the majority of the functions i require, the google maps
feature needs more work.

Are there any plans to enchance that feature?

e.g.

1. google map automatically generated from the address fields?
2. when clicking on location in google maps, it opens up another window where they can get directions

nevemrind, i can just manually add my own google maps code in the HTML of the description box

Are you able to manually add the iFrame code in the description box? When I put it in, Joomla strips the iFrame code and only leaves the link. Is this what you're doing or is there a way around the iFrame stripping?

I submitted the code to automatically generate the map from the address fields to rsjoomla 2 months ago.

If you need that ask them to provide you with the code or include that in a upgrade.

You can easily modify my code to make the mapgeneration onchange instead of onclick or to hide the map so everything happens in background.
