I have just downloaded an update to RS Events component. in order to install the update what do i do, do I:

Uninstall the Rs Events component and then re-install ?

Do I have to backup the events first - and if so how ?

or do I just install over the top of the existing installation ?
The administrator has disabled public write access.

Hello,

The update is installed as a regular component from Extensions > Install/Uninstall.
