Auto Archive is not working !

I am pasting the setting:
Auto Archive
Enable Auto Archive: Yes
Archive expired events after: 1 Days

And the component is still displaying the Event.....today is MAY 22 and the Event ended at MAY 20 - 3PM

Black Lake Park Grand Opening of Sport Courts 05/20/2012
Hosted by: Events & Recreation Committee (ERC)
The event will start on: 20 May 12 -- 01:00 PM
And will end on: 20 May 12 -- 03:00 PM
