But I've some questions. Now I'm using a custom components that let me:

Insert the event with these details (name, event manager, manager email, manager phone, description, location, how many days before the event will be closed, how many attendees max - these last two can be 0 for unlimited)

I now have the possibility to add some custom fields for each event that I use sometime.

When a member book for an event (the booking is open only after the member logged in) he'll see a form where the name is automatically taken from the Joomla user db, he has to insert the phone number and the number of people attending this event and he has to fill the optional field if these are present.

Question is. Can I do the same using the RSEvents or eventually the bundle RSEvents - RSForms?

I am glad that you are interested in our component but there are some differences between RSEvents! and your custom component.

In RSEvents! you do have a event host and owner, a event email, and phone. The event details already incorporate a start and end date.

As for a the registration process, the same scenario can be achieved.

The main difference is the fact that with RsForms I cannot create custom fields, correct?
