Somehow I can't figure out how to accomplish te following:

When somebody subscribes to an event I want to receive an email instead of having to login to the backend to see the subscriptions.

Please help.

did you get a solution?
I have the same problem and I truly cannot believe that there is no email sent to the evnt creator if someones subcribes...
