TOPIC: How to Have a Theme Placeholder Span 2 Columns

How to Have a Theme Placeholder Span 2 Columns 12 years 10 months ago #13899

Hi there,

Before the recent RSEvents revision, the "guest menu" sat snug on the right, details on the left, and the description was below, spanning the 2 columns above.

Is there any way to get a placeholder to span 2 columns?

This would be great to have the description be the full-width, while the other details sat in 2 columns above.

e.g.: http://www.urbanfarm.org/uf-events/event/68--ten-steps-to-being-an-urban-farmer-boot-camp-8-week-class-7

The description {EventDescription} and Google Map {EventMap} would look great if they went across both columns.

Thanks for any help.

Jason

Hello Jason,

When adding a placeholder to the event theme in RSEvents! > Themes you will be able to edit the placeholder and place it between HTML tags or style it with CSS attributes of your choice. This way you can style the placeholder as you wish in the theme and have the event page displayed as you wish.

Is it possible to give a very brief example of how to style a placeholder ie. code format and where that code would be entered?
