Register subscribers as Joomla users in JomSocial 14 years 10 months ago #10808

I can't seem to automatically register new subscribers as registered users of my site. When users subscribe they are receiving email confirming their event subscription but do not receive a Joomla site registration confirmation message - and are not even listed in JomSocial or Joomla user list for approval. What are the typical settings needed to make this work?
The administrator has disabled public write access.

Hello,

Please make sure that when setting the "Registration Method" option in RSEvents! to "Redirect to registration page" that you will also set the "Enable Registration of Guests" option to No. Otherwise the user will be able to register for the event without registering on your site.
