Hi. I have created a form with a file upload file, that also sends an notification email with a link to the file that users have uploaded. In my email text field it looks like this:

Navn: {name}
E-post: {email}
Telefon: {telephone}
Vedlegg: {jos_siteurl}components/com_forme/uploads/{atatchment}

This works. But whenever a user uploads a document that contains spaces, the link is "broken" and you can´t click on the whole link. For example if a user have uploaded a document called: this_is_a document.doc, it will look like this in the notification email: this_is_a document.doc (you can only click on this_is_a). I can still copy the whole link and paste it in my browser, but I wonder if there was an easier solution to this. For example get ride of the spaces or replace them by underlines (_), and send the correct link to the notification email?

From reading the forum there appears a number of workarounds on this one. I was confused by them so tried this - and it worked!

In the Admin Email, I had the following which produced the spaces in the link causing it to break. (Note my folder is called "clientuploads" and field is EnqAttach)


site.com/clientuploads/{EnqAttach:value}

So in the Admin Email section, I simply added a quotation before and after like this:
"site.com/clientuploads/{EnqAttach:value}"

and presto - Working link in email.
