How can I create a \"Reset\" button that will clear all form fields when it is clicked? I have several clients who have requested this feature, since they're used to seeing it on forms at other websites.

Refreshing the page clears the fields, but this is not intuitive to most visitors.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

BTW, Forme is a fantastic tool. Thanks for making it available to us!

Thanks, Alex!

I tried to create a reset button on the 1.0.3 demo on this website. I can set it up OK, but it doesn't appear on the form. Other fields that I create do appear, including the submit button.

Am I doing something wrong?

Thanks again for your help!

Elliott

I purchased the license and the Reset button still doesn't show on the form, even though I set up the button correctly on my own form on my own server. Please help. Thanks!

seems like you are right. The reset button does not show. I will fix it, and you will be able to see a notice in your Forme support screen tomorrow

Hi,

any news on this?

I cannot get it to work on a clients site. The client has purchased a license from you.

Thanks.

P.S. Tried to submit a ticket, but although it is a licensed copy it would refuse.<br><br>Post edited by: athanasios, at: 2007/06/11 08:31

I didn't post the fix, because it is up to the developer. It's a commercial product, so I am not going to post any code. I just wanted to get the thing working since my client paid for it.

I merely wanted to communicate to the developer that I fixed it because I got fed up with nothing happening.

Check forme.html.php, you'll see that the reset button got simply forgotten.
