A feature that could be improved in Forme is to be able to send 2 different messages after the form is sent.

One message is the thank you message to the person who submit its data. (considering an {email} field is present).

the other is a message with the data that has being sent to the administrator.
This is useful if you want to send the form data to be processed externally (and not thru the csv file).
Or still, to someone outside the joomla site who has not an admin user to the backend.

Right now, both of this messages in the way I describe IS possible with Forme. The problem is that you cant do both. You either send a thankyou message, or feed an external \"admin\".

What do you think ?

Hm, so you're suggesting multiple e-mail config?

Could you give me an example where this might be useful? Most of the people(as admin) want to receive a notification, so they are ok with the Message the user receives, as long as it says who you are, etc..

Sure,

The thank you mail message:
Hi {name},

Thank you for filling our form.
We will return to you as soon as
we have an answer for your question.

Thank you,
The site you went to fill it up team.

Now the message sent to the staff of the site, who does not have access to the backend:
Subject: Form {formid}
This is the result of the submitted form:

Name: {name}

Last Name: {lastname}

Email: {email}

Submitted file: {uploadedfile}

Message:
{message}
----EOM----

In the latest message every field in the form is desired, so maybe a iteration loop like the styles tab would be nice like:
This form has been submitted:

{formdata}

Thank you

and then:
{fieldname} ({fieldid}): {fielddata}

So, what do you think?

its indeed a good idea I think.

Another example is that when you use the form for a application of for instants a ADSL request then its a must that the admin gets a confirmation that there is a aplication request for that so the admin can take instant action.

So am I understanding correctly that only the administrator can view form results and we can't have the results sent via email to someone specific? If this is true, it's quite disappointing.

I have just submitted a question with the same essence.
Therefore I fully support this request: it would be a great inprovement if specific users could have access to (or be emailed) full info on submitted form information.

I use a form to send the submitter a Price List. The notification email is a Price List. The site owner also gets a copy of the Notification/Price List.

I too would like to be able to send the form submitter a Price List & the site owner a different notification email that contains the data entered in the form.

A reason that I would want something like this is we're collecting credit card information through the form.

We want to send one email to the submitter letting then know we got the email, but a different email to the admin with the credit card number. We don't want to send the credit card number back to them because it wouldn't be secure for them.

I also \"NEED\" this. Is this going to be implemented anytime soon? Or, has anyone written a hack or any other code to make this work??
