TOPIC: Upgrade Problem

Upgrade Problem 16 years 6 months ago #5270

Hi all,

Having a few problems here, I had all my forms made up in the tryout version in J1.5.

The update option didn't work for me, so I tried the manual method.

When trying to convert to the paid version, I backed up and downloaded my data, and downloaded the full version of RS Forms.

But now I can't instal the full version.

I checked all the permissions as instructed, but still no luck, I keep getting these messages:

JFolder::create: Infinite loop detected
Warning! Failed to move file.

Warning: is_dir() [function.is-dir]: open_basedir restriction in effect. File(/) is not within the allowed path(s): (/my file path:/usr/lib/php:/usr/local/lib/php:/tmp) in /home/my file path/public_html/libraries/joomla/filesystem/folder.php on line 362

Warning: is_dir() [function.is-dir]: open_basedir restriction in effect. File(/) is not within the allowed path(s): (/my file path:/usr/lib/php:/usr/local/lib/php:/tmp) in /my file path/public_html/libraries/joomla/filesystem/folder.php on line 362

Any advice appreciated, and many thanks in advance.<br><br>Post edited by: ontheouter, at: 2008/10/25 11:12

Solved.

I had a _ instead of a / in my path name in configuration.php.

Doh! :pinch:

All fixed and working.
