hi,

I checked in the backup file \install.xml and see that my utf-8 strings are all displaying giberish. On top of the page I see that encoding is ISO.

I took the to slashes off //mysql_query(\"SET NAMES 'utf8'\");

But my form still displays giberish.

Is there a way to prevent re-doing the form? I put a great amount of time designing the form and would like to restore the previous.

Thanks in advance<br><br>Post edited by: digitz, at: 2008/10/22 22:55

Hello,

You need to change the encoding of your template. To do this, you need to add/modify the following <meta> tag:
&lt;meta http-equiv=\&quot;Content-Type\&quot; content=\&quot;text/html; charset=utf-8\&quot; /&gt;
