TOPIC: Forme Frontend List - TROUBLE!

Forme Frontend List - TROUBLE! 16 years 11 months ago #472

Hi. Thanks for such a great program! Job well done!

I have created a form: www.mycar4sale.co.za/index.php?option=co...;fid=4&Itemid=90

But now i want to show the data on another page.
I installed the Forme Frontend List module.
But the page is showing this:

mycar4sale.co.za/index.php?option=com_co...;id=36&Itemid=83

What am i doing wrong?
Do i copy the code into a content page? Or is my module positioning wrong?

Please help!

Hi there,

could you confirm that you added the {year} {model} {engine} {kilos} {colour} {price}

into the Forme Frontend List Module, in the Row Layout textbox?

Also make sure that your Module Layout Textbox contains the text {formdata}.

Let me know.

I want to say yes, to both.
Find attached a pic of the backend.

What else can be wrong?

What coding should i paste into the content item i wish the data to display? At this stage it's showing the following, visit the link:

mycar4sale.co.za/index.php?option=com_co...;id=36&Itemid=83

Is the form with ID #7 published? I tried accessing it directly and it doesn't work. I suspect it's not published. Let me know.

I have changed it to ID #4 (I see that the software require the id on the far right,) But still I doesn't show.

Can you provide me with an email address, so that i can give you my username and password to log-in, and check for me, please?

Thanks

Never mind, I figured it out.
Do I understand it correctly when I say that the details displayed should be on the same page as where the details are recorded.

Can't a person enter data on one page, and view only the entered details on another page?

Yes, you can show the data wherever you wish, by using a module position. it's not related to the page where form is being displayed.
