This is a really great componenet. I'm an experienced web developer who's new to Joomla. On my first site, I struggled with a series of free form components only to be frustrated by their bugginess and.or lack of basic features. Then I took a leap on this one, and it is perfect. Almost.

Maybe I'm just retarded, but I find the Captcha element too hard to read sometimes. Every time I've tested the form, I think I've mistyped the validation code at least once. I finally changed it to numeric only so there would be less margin for misreading the code, but I still have about a 30% error rate. I know the point of these things is to fool spambots, but maybe it works too well! Maybe if the characters were larger, that would help, as the small characters are the toughest to discern. This is a big concern for me, because I work on some sites that are most used by seniors, and it's never as good idea to piss off old people!

Anyway, otherwise it's a great component.

I was having same problems and i did removed noise in background and set transparency a bit bigger to background code repeat and did it with numbers only also.
And yeah i changed font also so it's easier to read.

All configuration i did was in root/components/com_rsform/rsform.php starting at line 619. This line might be different for you tho i work in 1.0.4 RSForm!.
