Please help! The submit button on my form does not work! Here is a link to my form:
https://www.worksofmercywi.org/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=12&Itemid=9

(yes, I know the url is crazy long, but turning on SEF screws up my site). I apologize if this is answered on another thread, but I have been searching for over an hour and haven't found anything.

My form style is:

<div align=\"left\" style=\"width:100%\" class=\"componentheading\">{formtitle}</div>
<form name=\"{formname}\" id=\"{formname}\" method=\"post\" action=\"{action}\" {enctype}>
<table width=\"100%\" border=\"0\" cellpadding=\"0\" cellspacing=\"0\" class=\"forme\">
{formfields}
</table>
</form>

And the field style is:

<tr>
<td align=\"right\" valign=\"middle\">{fieldtitle}{validationsign} </td>
<td valign=\"middle\">{field}</td>
<td valign=\"middle\">{fielddesc}</td>
</tr>

If you go to the form, you'll also notice my column widths are screwed up. I am open to advice on that too.

Hi Sue,

I am having the same problem with one of my 2 forms I created with RSform!Pro. I just checked your form and saw that it is working. How did you get it to work? What was the problem?

Here is the link to my form that doesn't work:
rentalot.net/index.php?option=com_rsform...d=5&Itemid=99999

This is the link to the other form that DOES work:
rentalot.net/index.php?option=com_rsform...d=3&Itemid=99999

Thank you

ps. If anyone else out there has an answer for this please let me know what I am missing. This is the third time I have created this form... Thanks again

Ok...i found the solution (well for me anyway!)

the issue was caused by the fact that I had created a button rather than a submit button.

i checked all the submit buttons on my forms and found that 1/2 of them were normal buttons rather than submit buttons, once i deleted and added submit buttons they all went....

hope this helps ya all!

Hi. I have a form for my users to enter their information to be put on our mailing list. I have always used a \"submit button\" vs. a \"button\" and the form has worked for months. All of a sudden, the submit button doesn't work. When you enter your information and click submit, it just refreshes the page and no data is collected. The form is embedded on a static content page. HOWEVER, If I go to the form outside of the static content page, it does work when I click the submit button. I have not changed any code. Does anyone know why this is happening? Please help!

Embedded Form - DOES NOT WORK:

www.hearts-at-home.org/index.php?option=...id=90&Itemid=118

Form not within the page - DOES WORK:

www.hearts-at-home.org/index.php?option=com_forme&fid=1

Thanks for any help!

Hearts

Hello,

If you cache turned on, try to disable it and test your form. Don't forget to clean the cache first.

The form still does not work within the static page but does work on it's own. Clearing cache did not help.

HELP PLEASE!

Does anyone know why a form would not work when embedded in a static content page {mosforme 1} but does work when directly called from the url???

Thanks!
