Hi,

I am using a multi-tab form with script prepared by Alex - thank you for that!
As an examle: all fields in my form are mandatory, there are two tabs in that form, the submit button is in tab2.
If a mandatory field is skipped in tab2 where the submit button is located everything is clear - the validation message will be displayed and visible in that tab... but if any field was skipped in tab1 and a user is already in tab2 - where he presses th esubmit button - he will not see the validation message from tab1. Actually nothing happens when the submit is pressed so it is pretty confusing. I don't know how to solve it, how to add a visible in tab2 message that some fields in the form (or some fields from tab1) were not filled. Same concern may occure with forms without tabs but very long ones - when user has to search which field he skipped. I found a post in that subject www.rsjoomla.com/index.php/RSform-How-To...op-of-form.html#2475 but noone replied on it.
I bet many people have similar issues. Really no solution?

Thanks,
Darek

Me again - we have created buttons to shift between tabs like here cp.m6.pl/index.php?option=com_forme&fid=2
Maybe it'd be possible to force validation everytime one wants to move forward from step1 to step2? so it wouldn't be possible to see step2 if any field in step1 was skipped.
Any ideas?
