Hi,

New to the forum and to using RSform.

When I installed it, there is a message that says, \"Once you press Upload file & Install, you need to set up 777 (writable) permissions to the folder /components/com_forme/uploads. This folder is used for file uploads only.\"

How exactly do do that?

Thanks,
Gordon

Using your FTP program or Cpanel, navigate to that folder and change the permissions of the folder.

I assume you have access to you files on the server.

Thanks, will try this. I actually thought all my folders on my server were 'writable,' but will check.

Thanks again,
Gordon

careful here Gordon, there are some big security issues if all your folder permissions are set to 777. Just make sure the only the directories you need are set to 777

Thank you. Never knew about this. I guess I assumed being hosted on a 'secure' server meant that. But will be careful!
