Does anyone know how to make a simple tell-a friend form that can be sent to that friend, or friends?
Should look like this:
\"Friends name\"
\"Friends email\"
\"Friends sender Name\"
Friends senders email\"
\"message box\"
\"url of the site\"
It should look like it is coming from the sender, not the site
\"Submit button\"

That's it. Can this be done? There is very little to learn how on this site. I wish there was some sort of documentation to download. Very hard to learn by the tutorial

Making it look like it's coming from the sender is something I don't know how to do - you could, of course, hack the source code, but... The rest is pretty basic - just use the field placeholder of the friend's email address in the \"Email Form data to:\" for the notification email, and layout the body of the email any way you like, using the placeholders for the other fields. But I don't know how to control the From: or ReplyTo: parts of the email header.

If you want to allow the possibility of sending it to more than one friend, either tell the user to put multiple addresses in the field, separated by commas (easiest method for you), or provide multiple fields and put all the field placeholders in the To for the email (most obvious for PC-challenged users). I'm not sure, though, if SMTP is happy to have multiple commas with nothing between them, which is what would happen when not all the fields are filled in. Anyway, I hope this helps.

I'm trying to do something similar. In this case, how would you include the current page URL in the email? I have managed to get the page title to email in a separate email by using the process script tab, but its not working properly and I'd rather have the URL in the original email.
