TOPIC: Next step after form layout

Next step after form layout 17 years 2 months ago #2021

I tried \"searching\" for answers here, but i couldnt seem to find the answer.

first i must admit, im not very familiar with forms.

basically, i made a form layout and what have you. i didnt do the steps of creating \"new field\" because i dont like how it looks on the layout, instead, i copied the html from dreamweaver and pasted it on \"edit the form style\" box.

this is how it looks
http://360.dekarabaw.com/index.php?option=com_forme&Itemid=100

i plan on having that show on a module (which i know how to do) and, instead, on the content, i plan to show the output/data.

but that's where im stumped. i dont know how to execute the datas after clicking submit. basically, i just want to show the output data on the same page.

thanks for your help.

Can't see your form. It's not published. At least, not publicly.

Second, you can't create a form that way. You have to add fields through the New Field button. It won't process the form data without it.

Third, read the tutorial about styling rsform.

Finally, are you talking about a user that fills out a form and it just displays the information they completed on screen? What purpose does that serve? Seem's kind of a lot of work for nothing. Do you want the information to go somewhere? RSForm is a form submission and processor component. It is NOT a data management component.

Explain what you're trying to accomplish a little better please .
