Hello all.

I've discovered these bugs in rsform for joomla 1.5 so far:

1. form style doesn't work at all - no matter, what code is entered, it doesn't reflect in form page source, nevertheless, changes made to the form style are saved in rsform admin;

2. any attempt to reorder form fields fails. If attempt to reorder form fields is taken via \"order save button\", an error on a blank page is generated

3. I can't get my forms work with diffrent than english language file - have no idea, how should I arrange things to get running.
Like Continue button text in thankyou page - how do I change this?
Any clues, somebody?
My clients' site is one language non-english based.

Regards,
Adam

Hi Adam

For point 2., Alex very quickly corrected this bug and put a new version (same version name though) in the support file download area.
However, personally I would suggest use the check update icon which will install on top of your existing version. RSForm doesn't seem to uninstall correctly and leaves data in the DB and directories, so if it's working, I don't recommend a fresh install. Took me some time to find and delete everything to get the new install to work.
Oh, and back up everything i.e. your forms, DB and Joomla first, in case you aren't as lucky as me :-)
I'll have a look at the language problem in point 3. as I will need this in the future. What other languages are you using?

Hope the update works for you.

Regards

Peter

Hello, Peter.

Right, point 2 is OK now.

And for point 3 - I use lithuanian as default language.

Adam

Hi,

What about his point 1 about the Form Style? I've found that I can use the \"Edit the form style\" box to make certain table-style changes (change the table border from 0 to 1 for example). However, the \"Edit the field style\" box doesn't seem to have any effect on the generated form. For example, I would expect that if I change
<td align=\"right\" valign=\"top\">{fieldtitle}{validationsign}</td>
...to...
<td align=\"left\" valign=\"top\">{fieldtitle}{validationsign}</td>

... then all the {fieldtitle} table cells will be left-aligned. However, this doesn't happen. I can make the change at the field level for each form field, but why is the \"Edit the field style\" box on the Form Style tab, except to make global changes to the form?

Thanks,
John B.

Right, this is obviously a bug, starting with \"B\" :)
Maybe Alex is taking actions necessary to fix it while I'm typing?

Cheers,
Adam
