TOPIC: How do I vertically align the results module?

How do I vertically align the results module? 17 years 2 months ago #1900

I have been trying way too hard at this... There is only one thing on my content page, just that {mosloadposition user7} tag, nothing else at all.

Yet when viewing the page on the front end, the form results are always Bottom aligned.

Since I've got a lot of stuff on the left-hand column my page is tall and my results will never be seen.

In the module boxes I've tried every variation of div align=top, P valign=top, setting the table alignment to top, the whole formdata tag to top, every thing I can think of, but the forms always always show at the bottom of the page.

Despite the fact that user7 position was in my header!

This is really starting to worry me! I've methodically done every variation of HTML code trick I can think of and nothing is working... And there is absolutely no good reason for it to be down there in the first place.

Did this happen to anyone else? Can anyone guess why the table must show up at the bottom of the page?

Thanks in advance...
Luke

To be able to help you we'd need to see your form. So please post the link to your form.

Also, you won't be able to add style information by just adding it to your form. Check out my tutorial on styling RSforms here www.rsjoomla.com/index.php/RSform-How-To...ng-your-RSForms.html

Wow, this is an excellent tutorial... Just what I needed...

Thank you very much!

I'd post a link here to the form but unfortunately I can't make it live due to the fact that it's inside a pay-for membership area and not ready yet for the upgrade.

But I'll use this tute and let you know if there's still anything left I can't find... From the looks of it, I doubt it.

Thanks again!

After reading your document on CSS thoroughly, I still can't find a way to vertically align anything in a content item.

Is there a CSS setting somehwere that says something like \"Position user7 should be vertically aligned at the top of a content item when inserted into it?\"

It drives me nuts that if you simply insert a table into a content item, it is aligned to the top... But this aligns to the middle-ish bottom.

And Position user7 would be at the top of my template in the heading, so I can't understand why it goes there and can't be persuaded otherwise.

I fear that CSS can't move it either, the setting has something to do with the way the forme_list module says that the position must display in content items.

Wouldn't that be buried in mod_forme_lists' code?
