Hello - Hopefully someone can help me.

I have an RSForm that was working perfectly from June through November. I just noticed today that I haven't received any e-mails via the form since the end of November (our traffic is light, but extremely important). I haven't touched a thing with regards to my form or my entire website for that matter.

I've read the other threads about not receiving e-mails via rsform, but none of them seem to help. My from and to addresses are different. I have appropriate text in the subject and body fields. And of course, I haven't changed anything from what was working.

I can still see the collected form submissions when I View Data, so I'm pretty sure that my form is still working properly.

I've tested that I can send mail directly from my webhost using neomail.

I've tested that I can send e-mail via joomla. I created a backup using the eBackup module that was succesfully e-mailed to me.

So, now I'm at a loss. Where else can I look to help debug where these e-mails are going. Is there a way to check if they are even being sent?

Here's some more information about this problem as I continue my debugging efforts.

I've created a new form and sent out an e-mail. It works perfectly.

So, is there anyway I can tell why a specific form isn't sending e-mail that used to work fine?

I'm having the same issue as well!

It worked perfectly yesterday and this morning. Somehow it just stops working and I haven't received any new e-mails ever since although my forms received new data.

I need help ASAP!

Actually, I solved my own issue. I wasn't having a problem with Rsform. My problem was actually related to how I was forwarding and receiving e-mails from generic accounts. I had made a change that inadvertently prevented e-mails from being delivered. RSform was working perfectly.

What changes exactly you actually made on the mail settings? I need a fix quickly. I don't remember making any changes at all. It just stops sending the e-mails.

Sorry, but I'm not sure I can help you.

My problem was that I was having RSForm send to contact@mydomainname. The contact userid didn't actually exist, but I was having all non specific addressed e-mail sent to myname@mydomainname. Anyway, I changed my domain settings to throw away e-mail not sent to a real address, which effectively stopped me from receiving my RSForm e-mails. I didn't get any for a week before I realized that my domain changes were the culprit.

Fortunately, RSForm saved all the form submissions and I didn't lose any.

Good for you.

My domain e-mail is working properly. I have tried changing the e-mail address send to and from field in the form notification e-mail but to no avail.

I wonder what the culprit is for this one.

SOLVED.

RSform! is actually working perfectly. I figured its the PHP mail function that has caused the havoc. The mail settings can be found at the global configuration of Joomla. I simply switched to SMTP server and viola! Notification e-mails are working again!
