Submit button disables top Joomla button 18 years 3 weeks ago #160

I created a submit button and hit Apply from the top menu to preview it. After I did this, it disables the top menu options (Save, Apply, Close, Main). I manually had to leave the screen, but it left the page \"Checked Out\". I figured out that if I hit the Submit button that is previewed in the \"Field Preview\" window on the right, it leaves the page and checks it back in.

Has anyone else had this problem?
The administrator has disabled public write access.

Is there a solution to this? I am using IE7 and have this problem and clicking on the submit button in field preview or form preview does not work - I get the padlock and cannot save or apply. Help! Thanks.
